About the product
Banner Engineering SLLR40-490-S is a safety light curtain from the LS-S series type 4 safety light curtains designed for arm detection with a resolution of 40mm. This part, functioning as a receiver alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for its connection type. The protective height of this unit is 490mm, and it comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The SLLR40-490-S is designed to offer a degree of protection rated at IP65 and IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. Its dimensions are 36mm in width, 495mm in height, and 45mm in depth. The safety light curtain provides a sensing distance between 10cm and 12m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. It has a quick response time of 8.2ms. Additionally, it is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 100mA; sourcing/PNP transistor) for CSSI status output.
