About the product

Banner Engineering SM2A312CV2QD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 43mm. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
