About the product
Banner Engineering SM312DBZ W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 300mm. It emits infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
