About the product
Banner Engineering SM312FMHS W/30 is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber material and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
