About the product
Banner Engineering SM312LP W/30 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20 and +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 10mm to 3m. The light color is visible red, and it has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating mode can be set to Light-ON or Dark-ON.
