About the product
Banner Engineering SM312LVMHS W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of up to 5m. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
