About the product
Banner Engineering SM31RLMHSQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM31RLMHSQD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can detect objects up to a distance of 30m using infrared (IR) light. The sensor's response time is notably quick at 0.3ms, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
