About the product
Banner Engineering SMU315LPQDP is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. The SMU315LPQDP offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape encompasses 1 x digital output (SPDT rly. contact) and achieves a sensing distance of 3m. The sensor emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and responds within 20ms / 0.02 s, supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
