Banner Engineering EA5R300PUXMODSRQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, featuring an aluminium housing and operating within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), encapsulated in a rectangular shape with a 300mm array length. This sensor can detect objects sized between 5-10mm, with a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 1.5m. It is part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functioning as a short-range measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone), and is protected to a degree of IP65. The connection is facilitated by an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector, and it requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). Communication is enabled through Modbus RTU RS-485, with a configuration of 60 beams and a 5mm beam spacing/pitch.
