QCM50-K1D40-Q8-4 Banner Optical Sensors

Banner Engineering QCM50-K1D40-Q8-4 is a high-performance color sensor designed for precise color detection within a sensing distance of 18 to 60mm. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a small spot design of 4x4mm for targeted color recognition. It is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and supports both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) operating modes. The QCM50-K1D40-Q8-4, part of the QCM50 series, is housed in a die-cast Zinc with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens and a matte chrome-plated coating, ensuring durability. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and includes one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It utilizes IO-Link communication protocol for efficient data exchange and is designed with TEACH mode for simplified color calibration.
