About the product
Banner Engineering QCM50-K3D60-Q8-5 is a high-performance color sensor within the QCM50 series, designed for a sensing distance of 20 to 150mm and featuring a visible white light color. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and is equipped with a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It offers a TEACH mode capable of distinguishing up to 7 colors over long ranges and has a rectangular shape with dimensions featuring an 8x8mm spot. The sensor's housing is made from die-cast zinc with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, coated in matte chrome-plated material for durability. It provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, ensuring its operation in demanding environments. The supply voltage required is 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol and offers three digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor), operating in both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) modes.
