About the product
Banner Engineering QCM50-K5D60-Q8-8 is a high-performance color sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring color differentiation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a TEACH mode capable of distinguishing up to 12 colors over a long range. This sensor is equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration into existing systems. Part of the QCM50 series, it has a compact rectangular shape with dimensions focusing on an 8x8mm spot and offers a sensing distance of 20 to 150mm. The sensor is constructed from die-cast zinc housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens and a matte chrome-plated coating, ensuring durability. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage required is 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced connectivity and data exchange. The QCM50-K5D60-Q8-8 emits visible white light and can operate in both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) modes. It also features 5 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor), allowing for versatile output configurations.
