QCM50-K5D40-Q8-8 Banner Optical Sensors

Banner Engineering QCM50-K5D40-Q8-8 is a high-performance color sensor designed for precise color differentiation with a small spot size of 4x4mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and is equipped with a TEACH mode capable of recognizing up to 12 colors. This sensor features a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and belongs to the QCM50 series. It has a rectangular shape with dimensions tailored for compact applications and is constructed from die-cast zinc housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. For communication, it utilizes the IO-Link protocol and has a sensing distance range of 18 to 60mm. The light color used for sensing is visible white, and it supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes. Additionally, it features 5 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and is coated in matte chrome-plated material for enhanced resilience.
