About the product
Banner Engineering QCM50-K1D60-Q8-4 is a high-performance color sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring color differentiation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a TEACH mode for 1 color long-range detection. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and falls under the QCM50 series. It has a compact rectangular shape with dimensions that produce an 8x8mm spot and is constructed from die-cast zinc housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. For communication, it utilizes the IO-Link protocol. The sensing distance ranges from 20 to 150mm, and it uses visible white light for detection. It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The sensor's surface is finished with a matte chrome plating.
