About the product
Banner Engineering SGSB3-400 is a reflector designed for automation applications, featuring a passive unit mirror/reflector assembly. It is constructed with an aluminium housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, complemented by thermoplastic end caps. This part is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It has a protective height of 380mm and comes in a yellow housing. The SGSB3-400 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring its suitability for various industrial environments. The reflector is rectangular in shape, with dimensions of 52mm in width, 881mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It features 2 beams with a 380mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). The sensing distance is effective from 50cm to 8m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a response time of 13ms / 0.013 s and a wavelength of 950 nm.
