About the product
Banner Engineering SGSB4-300 is a reflector designed for automation applications, featuring a passive unit mirror/reflector assembly. It is constructed with an aluminium housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, complemented by thermoplastic end caps. This part is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It offers a protective height of 300mm and comes in a yellow housing. The SGSB4-300 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. The reflector's shape is rectangular, with dimensions of 52mm in width, 981mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It features 2 beams with a 300mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). The sensing distance is effective from 50cm to 6.5m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm and a response time of 27ms (0.027 s).
