Banner Engineering SLPCE25-830P8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 25mm. This cascadable unit features an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The protective height of the device is 830mm, housed in a yellow casing, and operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The net dimensions are 28mm in width, 829mm in height, and 26mm in depth. The SLPCE25-830P8 provides a sensing distance from 10cm up to 7m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850nm. It features two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions. The response time is recorded at 14ms.
