About the product

Banner Engineering SLPE14-270, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This emitter alone unit is housed in yellow aluminum with acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for connection, operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLPE14-270 offers a protective height of 270mm and is designed with dimensions of 28mm in width, 270mm in height, and 26mm in depth. It provides IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The unit is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication. It operates with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 850 nm, has a sensing distance range of 10cm to 7m, and a response time of 10.5ms.
