About the product
Banner Engineering SLPE14-970, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This emitter alone unit features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It offers a protective height of 970mm and operates with a supply voltage of 24Vdc. The SLPE14-970 is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water jets. It has a net width of 28mm, a height of 969mm, and a depth of 26mm. The connection type is an Integral Removable Disconnect (RD), facilitating easy installation and maintenance. This safety light curtain emits infrared light with a wavelength of 850nm and operates over a sensing distance of 10cm to 7m. It features two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for FAULT indication, with a response time of 25.5ms. The housing is colored yellow for visibility.
