About the product
Banner Engineering SLPE14-690 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, serving as an emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, featuring a yellow housing color. It offers a protective height of 690mm and operates with a supply voltage of 24Vdc. The SLPE14-690 is equipped with an Integral Removable Disconnect (RD) connection type and has dimensions of 28mm in width, 689mm in height, and 26mm in depth. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and provides a degree of protection rated at IP65. The safety light curtain has a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 7m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It features a response time of 19.5ms and includes 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and 1 x digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for FAULT output.
