Banner Engineering SLPE14-690AP8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, serving as the emitter alone, is housed in clear anodized aluminum with acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The protective height of the device is 690mm, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The net dimensions are 28mm in width, 689mm in height, and 26mm in depth. This model is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication. It has a sensing distance range from 10cm to 7m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time is 19.5ms, and the housing color is gray.
