About the product
Banner Engineering SLSP14-1500Q88 is a safety light curtain from the 14/30 series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit comprises an emitter and receiver pair housed in aluminum with acrylic lenses and die-cast zinc end caps. It features a protective height of 1500mm and is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SLSP14-1500Q88 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and is capable of sensing distances from 10cm up to 6m. The light curtain emits infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm and has a beam spacing/pitch of 14mm. It includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), one digital output (24Vdc; sourcing/PNP transistor; 75mA) for auxiliary purposes, one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for EDM, and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions. The response time of the device is 48ms / 0.048 s. The housing is colored yellow.
