About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CVBQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor is capable of functioning within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 16mm and a visible blue light color. The response time of the sensor is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
