About the product
Banner Engineering SM312LVMHSQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a sensing distance of 5m. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
