About the product
Banner Engineering SM31RLMHS, part of the SM312 series, is a photo-electric sensor designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable featuring bare end flying leads for connection. The SM31RLMHS operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and offers a sensing distance of up to 30m. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
