About the product
Banner Engineering SMU315D W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. The SMU315D W/30 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (SPDT rly. contact). The sensing distance is 380mm, with an infrared (IR) light color, a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s, and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The wavelength of the IR light is 880 nm.
