About the product
Banner Engineering SMU315WQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, featuring a divergent diffuse system with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. The SMU315WQDP offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (SPDT rly. contact) and can detect objects up to a sensing distance of 130mm. The sensor operates with infrared (IR) light, having a wavelength of 880 nm, and offers a quick response time of 20ms / 0.02 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
