About the product
Banner Engineering SMU31E W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, part of the SMU315 universal voltage series, features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. The SMU31E W/30 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape and infrared (IR) light source, with a wavelength of 880 nm, allow for a sensing distance of up to 3m. The sensor's response time is 20ms / 0.02 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
