About the product

Banner Engineering VS8EANRQ is a photo-electric sensor with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 °C. This sensor operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 7.5" / 20cm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, emitting visible red light, and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). Designed as a through-beam system / opposed mode with TEACH mode, it has a sensing distance of 3m. This model is part of the VS8 series and functions as a photo-electric sensor (receiver alone).
