Schneider Electric LTMR08MBD, part of the LTMR (TeSys T) sub-range, is designed for comprehensive motor management including control modes such as local via terminal block, local via HMI terminal, and remote via network. It supports various operating modes including overload, independent, reverser, 2-step, 2-speed, and custom mode. The device offers fault management features like manual, automatic, and remote reset, alongside protection fault counters, protection alarm counters, diagnostic fault counters, motor control function counters, fault history, and diagnostics for internal watchdog fault, controller internal temperature, temperature sensor connection, current connection, voltage connection, motor control commands, control configuration checksum, and loss of communication. It records motor statistics like the number of motor control commands, operating time, number of starts per hour, last start I max, duration of last start, and thermal overload statistics including time to trip and time to restart. System operating statistics such as run, on, start, alarm, and fault are also tracked. The LTMR08MBD features a 3-pole connection with 3 measurement current transformers (control circuit) using screw-clamp terminals and communicates via the Modbus protocol. It offers protection functions against thermal overload, motor temperature, phase imbalance, phase failure, phase reversal, long starting time, locked rotor, minimum and maximum current load limit variation, earth fault, and frequent starting. The device is rated for currents from 0.4 to 8 A (maximum with CT) 800 A, with protection settings adjustable for various parameters. It operates on a supply voltage of 24 V DC and a rated voltage (AC) phase-to-phase of 690 V at 50-60Hz, with a minimum current of 0.4 A and a maximum of 8 A. Measurement functions include current/phase, earth current, average current, current imbalance between phases, thermal capacity level, and motor temperature rise.
