About the product
Banner Engineering QM26ENXLPC-5M is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications, featuring a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and is constructed with a hygienic stainless steel 316L housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, suitable for FDA-compliant washdown environments. This sensor is part of the QM26 series and offers a high degree of protection with an IP69K rating. It is pre-wired with a 5m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is designed for straightforward mounting, and it can detect objects up to 2.6m away. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It features a fast response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile connectivity options.
