About the product
Banner Engineering SGSMA4-300Q12 is a safety light curtain designed for perimeter access guarding with a protective height of 900mm. It features an integrated muting function and operates as an active unit with both transmitter and receiver on one side. The housing is made of aluminum, with a polycarbonate (PMMA) lens and thermoplastic end caps. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin and a 12-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The unit is yellow, operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It has an IP65 degree of protection, dimensions of 52mm in width, 1007mm in height, and 57mm in depth. The light curtain features 4 beams with a 300mm beam spacing/pitch, 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), and a sensing distance ranging from 50cm to 6.5m. The response time is 12ms, and it emits infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm.
