About the product

Banner Engineering SM31RFQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode fiber block potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SM31RFQD operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and it is capable of sensing distances up to 3m with an infrared light source. The SM31RFQD features a fast response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
