Banner Engineering SGSSP4-400Q88 is a safety light curtain from the SGS series designed for short-range applications. This part consists of an emitter and receiver pair housed in aluminum with Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lenses and thermoplastic end caps. It features a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SGSSP4-400Q88 has a protective height of 1200mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. This safety light curtain offers an IP65 degree of protection and has dimensions of 52mm in width, 1307mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It is designed with 4 beams at a 400mm beam spacing/pitch, includes 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), and has a sensing distance between 50cm and 30m.
